Meet Our Team
R. L. Young
After his undergraduate studies were completed in Idaho, Hawaii and California, Mr. Young returned to his hometown of Indianapolis where he worked in city government and completed post-graduate studies at Indiana university. Not long thereafter he joined his family-owned real estate investment brokerage, R.L. Young Company, specialists in commercial and multi-family properties, with an emphasis on Historical preservations. Rob thrived with the firm for more than 34 years.
Mr. Young discovered golf offers an escape from day to day business problem solving, an outlet where one can have a moment of pleasure from executing a good shot and also benefit from making a few dollars from a friendly competitor.
Over the years, Rob has organized golf events for several international companies and charitable organizations. Several of these events included famous celebrities and well-known athletes. Among Mr. Young’s many accomplishments are three (3) holes-in-one, a finalist at the Oldsmobile Pro/Am Scramble and officiating numerous LPGA and PGA events. He is currently a member of the Indiana State Seniors Golf Association (ISSGA) and a member of the crew who perform golf course ratings for the Indiana Golf Association (IGA).
Mr. Young has shot his current age on numerous occasions, however, not simultaneously. He is active with the Plum Creek Senior Golf League and holds credentials as a master gardener. He can also be seen on the sidelines, as a member of the “chain gang,” during Butler University football games.
Rob has been an executive producer for several film and television projects since 1989.
